About Cornerstone of Recovery
Bradford Health Knoxville (also known as Cornerstone of Recovery Knoxville) is a place for clients to heal from addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Their inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) is based on the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual model of treatment and the 12-Step approach to recovery. Bradford Health prides themselves on offering individualized treatment plans developed specifically for the needs of each client. They also provide medical detox services and a variety of therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and integration training, schema therapy, family therapy, activity therapy, fitness, and more. In addition to inpatient care, Cornerstone also offers specialized programs geared to meet the specific needs of professionals, aviation employees, veterans, young adults, and women. The women's program meets their specific needs, while the Newcomers program is geared for individuals just starting rehab, and the Recovery Renewal program is designed for clients with chronic relapses.
They offer an optional Christian program called Steps of Faith. The program uses the 12 Steps of Recovery and biblical principles to guide recovery alongside medical and clinical care, adventure therapy, and yoga. Steps of Recovery isn't tied to any specific denomination. They support clients who use other spiritual literature in addition to the Bible in their recovery.
The Knoxville facility is nestled on 25 acres in the suburb of Louisville, Tennessee. The property consists of 4 buildings. The residential building provides hotel-like accommodations with gourmet, fresh prepared food served on-site. From there, clients will go to outpatient treatment in a designated building. Cornerstone has a fitness center like no other. The 15,000 square foot building has indoor tennis, basketball, volleyball along with state-of-the-art fitness equipment. The on-site ropes course helps clients put trust in their newfound peers. Bradford Health has been providing high quality treatment for men and women since 1977.
